Roots & Revival

The story unfolds on the second floor of a character-filled heritage building, a space that had seen many lively and quiet days in between. When we took it on to relaunch Mike’s Carpets downstairs, we discovered something unexpected upstairs: vast rooms with character, light, and the promise of renewal.

With limited means but plenty of purpose, we reinvested what we earned into bringing those spaces back to life. We sourced reclaimed materials, restored what could be saved, and furnished the rooms with secondhand treasures. Every decision reflected our values: sustainability, authenticity, and community.

Rather than erase the marks of time, we chose to celebrate them. Original fireplaces, worn plaster, and exposed brick now stand as reminders that beauty often comes from what endures.

Today, our coworking space and community hub is more than a workspace. It’s a living story of restoration, creativity, and conscious growth, proof that with care and intention, even forgotten spaces can thrive again.
